A huge fan from the age of 11, Kate chose to record Rocket Man for the Elton John/Bernie Taupin tribute album, Two Rooms. It was the first cover tune she released since Donovan's Lord Of The Reedy River in 1981.
The instrumental version of Candle In The Wind is one of Kate's more elusive tracks. It only appears on this 12" and (most) CD Rocket Man releases.
The cover of this release is somewhat unique in that it's the only 12" single that features a different image than it's 7" (or CD) counterpart. (It was inlcuded on one side of the 7" limited edition poster sleeve, inside the UK trifold CD single and on the rear of the Japanese CD single, but this is the only release where it's used on the front.)
