Cloudbusting (Meteorological Mix) Lyrics
Running time: 6:30
The A-side title refers to a rain-making machine (the "Cloudbuster") developed by Wilhelm Reich (Peter's father), a brilliant psycho-analyst who was eventually imprisoned for his radical ideas.
This was Kate's first CD single. It became highly collectible almost instantly because it was not released commercially, and since it was the only release of the extended version of Cloudbusting available on CD until the box set came out nearly 4 years later. It still ranks as one of Kate's most sought after CDs to this day.
All US extended versions of Cloudbusting are called the Meteorological Mix. Everywhere else, it's known as The Organon Re-mix.
