What it's about: Kate transforms Claude Debussy's Clair de lune into a beautiful tale of a traveler who happens upon a beekeeper -- who likens the beauty, mystery and magic of their work to a form of alchemy.
Running time: 4:21
In the Netherlands and a couple other European countries, the 2-track version of Eat The Music shown here was issued as a replacement to 7" vinyl. A 4-track CD single (show here) was released simultaneously.
The packaging was a bit different as well -- the 2-track versions were issued in cardboard sleeves (not in jewel cases, like the 4-track releases).
Eat The Music is one of only a small handful of singles that was never (officially) released in Kate's native country. It was supposed to be the lead single from The Red Shoes, but after failing to generate any radio interest, plans were scrapped in favor of Rubberband Girl.
