Etc:
Eat The Music was supposed to be the lead single
from The Red Shoes in the UK, but after failing
to generate any radio interest, it was quickly pulled and
replaced by Rubberband Girl. |
| |
Etc2:
It was supposed to be issued in the same configurations
as Rubberband Girl was: on 7" vinyl,
12" picture disc and 3-track CD single. Like its
replacement, the B-side was Big Stripey Lie. The
3rd track (on the 12" and CD) was going to be the Madagascan
Mix of Eat The Music (which is the same as
the 12" Version released in the US), but
they were never pressed. |
| |
Etc3:
This so-called Madagascan Mix was eventually
issued in the UK as the US Mix, on the And
So Is Love CD singles in late 1994. It also appears
on the Japanese promo only Moments Of Pleasure
set (where it's mislabeled the Madacascan Remix). |

Etc4:
With so few in circulation, this CD single has become
highly collectible, even though it wasn't issued with a
sleeve or inlay card (that I know of). Scan courtesy of Pertti. |
