Hammer Horror entered the UK chart in the third week of its release at #73, and peaked two weeks later at #44, on November 25, 1978.  It held that position for one week, and spent a total of six weeks on the chart.
First pressings have an angled thumb notch on the rear sleeve and "We're all playing a hunch" etched into the dead wax on side A. For additional information on first pressings vs. reissues, look here.
