The Man With The Child In His Eyes Lyrics
What it's about: A young girl fantasizes about an aging Peter Pan-like character who still retains his childlike innocence. It's one of Kate's earliest works; she began writing it at the age of 14.
Running time: 2:47 (single mix)
Moving Lyrics
What it's about: Kate's tribute to her mime instructor, Lindsay Kemp.
Running time: 3:05
The A-side has a slightly different mix than the LP: it opens with Kate saying "He's here" 6 times.
Canaada issued a number of Kate's early singles on Harvest with no picture sleeves.  As a result, they were largely ignored by collectors, so they have become a little difficult to find.
8 years later, The Man With The Child In His Eyes was re-released in Canada with a picture sleeve and a different B-side (in support of The Whole Story).  It's shown here.  Scan courtesy of Bart.
